Policies

By scheduling an appointment with Audrey Jacobson, you agree to the following policies:

DRAPING: In my massage sessions, I maintain the highest standards of modest draping and professionalism. Only the area that I am working on will be exposed. Draping is not optional.

CLIENT CONDUCT: You agree to keep me informed of any/all medical conditions and the occurrence of new conditions. At times, physician approval may be necessary before a session. In this situation, proper paperwork may be provided for your doctor to fill out and sign.

It is also your responsibility to communicate with me about pain or discomfort during a session. Prior to the session, we will talk about your expectations and goals. This is a good time to let me know if there is anything that I should know such as an injury or an area to avoid (such as highly sensitive feet). 

Any sexual solicitation is unacceptable (including any inappropriate conduct/touching, suggestive remarks/requests, or advances). Such actions will result in immediate termination of the appointment and will be reported to the proper authorities. Payment for the entire scheduled service will be expected.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life.  If we are working together, no doubt we will be respectful of each other's time.  I am usually happy to be flexible with these policies considering sudden illness or emergencies. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

 

24 HOUR ADVANCE NOTICE: I ask that you give me at least 24 hours notice if you cannot make a scheduled appointment (ideally 24-48 hours). Failure to cancel within 24 hours of the appointment start time will result in a 50% charge of the scheduled services.

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled online at any time through your appointment confirmation or reminder emails. Within the 24 hour window, you will not be permitted to cancel online. To avoid a "no-show" fee (listed below, please contact me directly either through text or phone call. 

NO-SHOWS: If you either forget or consciously choose to forgo your appointment, or fail to give notice for whatever reason, you will be considered a no-show. You will be charged the full amount for your missed appointment. 

LATE ARRIVALS: If you arrive late, your session will be shortened.  Regardless of the length of the session actually given, you will be responsible for the full appointment. Your appointment begins at the time scheduled. Please allow yourself 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time to arrive, park, use the restroom, etc to avoid feeling rushed.

TRANSFER OF SERVICE: Scheduled appointments may not be "gifted" or transferred to another person without informing me in advance. If you cannot make your appointment within the 24 hour cancellation window and would like someone else to take your place, you must contact me PRIOR to the appointment start time for approval. 

 

PAYMENT: A valid credit card must be on file to schedule appointments. No deposit is required and your card will not be charged, except in cases of no-shows or late cancellation. Full payment is expected at the time of service. I accept cash, check, or credit card payments. I use Square to process all credit or debit card payments and you will see "Sage & Cedar Wellness, LLC" on your billing statement.
